Having partnered closely with our friends at Redhouse Production on many projects through the years, from Burberry runway shows to Pop-up installations in Dover Street Market, we were asked on this occasion to help develop the creative for the exciting launch of a new sneaker by Church’s Shoes. This involved many preliminary design sketches at the early stage, working through the spatial strategy and client feedback, finally then to technical production drawings and specifications and lastly to assist with the load in and set up on the launch date.
Church’s have been makemaking quality, traditional footwear since 1873. Since their acquisition by Prada in the 1990s, the brand has pushed the envelope even further, applying their singular craftsmanship to a series of increasingly more exciting projects. The CH873 sneaker collection was launched with a celebration in London’s Soho, a creative, urban hub with neon lights that inspired the special installation.
